Description: The front of the card depicts an autumn leaf changing from green to yellow, red, and brown with a Schenck’s card under it. The card reads “Schenck’s Mandrake Pills for all Bilious Complaints.” The reverse of the card publicizes three different Schenck’s products: Schenck's Pulmonic Syrup, Schenck's Seaweed Tonic, and Schneck's Mandrake Pills. Schenck's Pulmonic Syrup is the best cure for consumption and whooping cough, and for symptoms of the common cold like coughs, sore throat and hoarseness. Schenck's Seaweed Tonic treats dyspepsia and debility by mixing with the gastric juices aiding digestion. Finally Schenck's Mandrake Pills treat indigestion, headache, and diseases of the liver and stomach. All Dr. Schenck’s medicines were sold by Joel S. Drake, Dry Goods, Groceries, Crockery, in Easton, Mass.
