Description: The front of this card depicts two young children, a boy blowing a horn that he is holding with his left hand and a pole with a flag attached in his right hand. The young girl is beating on a small snare drum. The head of another young child is shown above the caption "Mamma says stop that noise, it makes her nervous". At the very top is the heading, "Carter's Little Nerve Pills, for the Nervous and Dyspeptic". At the bottom of the card it says "Children will never stop making a noise, but those who use Carter's Little Nerve Pills need not be nervous". The reverse of the card states "Carter's Little Nerve Pills, Nervous persons who cannot sleep and who also suffer from dyspepsia should use Carter's Little Nerve Pills, made especially for dyspeptic men and women."
