Description: The front of the card depicts a young girl wearing a bonnet/hat with a pink bow in a white puffy dress resting on a wall that reads "Healthful & Nutritious". The reverse of the card promotes Prof. Horsford's Phosphatic Baking Powder made from Prof. Horsford's Acid Phosphate. The baking powder makes lighter biscuits, cakes, etc and is noted as being healthier then ordinary baking powders and recommended by leading physicians. The card states that "a deficiency of the phosphates is a common cause of disease and of retarded growth." In addition to its uses there is commentary on the product by leading doctors of the time. The Major & Knapp Lith. Co. included on bottom right of front of card.
