The reverse of the card promotes Horsford's Acid Phosphate for dyspepsia, indigestion, headache, and night sweats of consumption. The acid was prepared using phosphates of lime, magnesia, potash and iron with phosphoric acid to be readily assimilated by the system. Horsford's Acid Phosphate is promoted as being agreeable to the taste, causes no danger and makes a delicious drink with water and sugar only. The retail price for Horsford's Acid Phosphate is listed at 50 cents per bottle. Advertised also are Horsford's Bread Preparation, Yeast Powder, and Baking Powder made of the Acid Phosphate. H. M.
