Description: Front of card depicts a desert scene with a young woman dressed in Middle Eastern fashion, drawing water from a well with a older gentleman approaching in the background. She is identified on the reverse as 'Rebekah at the Well'. The reverse of the card states 'during all seasons of the year, Dr. D. Jayne's Expectorant should be kept in every household, for in all families troublesome coughs and colds are likely to occur'. The Expectorant is promoted to remedy symptoms of Croup, Consumption, Asthma, Pleurisy, and Whooping-Cough, among other bronchial disorders.
