Description: Workers in Greenville are shown trying to stop the flow of oil that was accidentally dumped into the Tar River here yesterday. The oil has flowed down the river as far as Grimesland. Hay is being used to soak up the oil that drained into the city's storm sewer from a tobacco plant. Approximately 3,000 gallons of oil were dumped creating an oil slick 8 to 10 miles.
