Title: Bald eagles arrive at wildlife refuge

Description: Don Hammer of the Tennessee Valley Authority and John Fidel, of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service examine one of two bald eagles that arrived at the National Wildlife Refuge at Lake Mattamuskeet late this afternoon. The birds were placed in hacking tower for about eight-to-nine weeks until they are ready to fly. They will be fed without the knowledge of humans and will be equipped with a radio transmitter later .
