Description: The above is a rendering of a $300,000 planetarium proposed for East Carolina University. A gift of $100,000 toward construction was presented to ECU by the American Credit Corporation Foundation with the stipulation that $200,000 in matching funds be raised through other sources. Senator Herman Moore of Mecklenburg County, a Foundation board member, made the announcement.
