Description: A simple porcelain dessert plate is one of the few items we know to be associated with David Stone's wife, Hannah. It was handed down to one of her great-grandchildren. Stone's plate would have had a pastoral scene with a shepherd herding sheep on it, but it has worn away. A plate of the same time period is presented next to Stone's plate to demonstrate what it would have looked like. The technique for printing the scene is discussed in the video and the item is described in detail. Date approximated.
