West and Company, General Contractors, in Greenville, N.C., and other cities in North Carolina, Alabama, Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia. C. B. West was a builder and architect active in Greenville during the first third of the twentieth century. He was responsible for the construction of such structures in Greenville as the James L. Fleming House, the National Bank Building at Five Points, the Rotary Club building, the West Greenville Grammar School, and the Pitt Theatre.
