Description: Oak walker for an infant (HOA 17 1/2" Diam. 21"). Four flaring, turned legs resting on marbled rollers are mortised into a rounded circle that is flat on the bottom. Turned stretchers connect the legs. English, early 19th century (ca 1800-1810). A few brief statements on the history of infant walkers during this time are provided in the video.
