Description: Orville Wright soaring in 1911. One can easily distinguish the year of photos of Wright trials at Kitty Hawk. The brothers flew in a prone position from 1900 through 1903. In 1908 and 1911 they assumed a sitting position. The 1908 flights were powered. This photo of a craft without engine is thus assuredly from 1911.
