Description: Born in Greenville, NC in 1940, Clyde Thomas Mallison was a 1966 graduate of East Carolina College. For more than 30 years, he entertained the residents of eastern North Carolina as “TomtheJazzman” on Public Radio East, based in New Bern, North Carolina. Mallison passed away in an automobile accident in 2015 at the age of 75.
