This collection contains administrative records, committee minutes and records, materials pertaining to events and programs sponsored by the Student Union, and records that pertain to the construction and renovation of Mendenhall Student Center and Wright Auditorium.

This collection contains genealogy files compiled by Elizabeth (Betsy) Ross of Greenville, North Carolina, primarily related to families in Beaufort, Craven, Martin, and Pitt Counties, North Carolina. These files include individual family files containing family sheets and genealogy notes, plus abstracts of public records that she did from microfilm and the actual records, and notebooks of genealogy notes that include indexes to their information.

Papers (1748-1904, 1965) of the Taylor, Moore, Read and other families of Carteret County, NC, consisting of land grants, deeds, a will, postcards, a certificate, a bill of lading, receipts, a promissory note, newspaper clippings, selling of a young enslaved child.

Organization records (1955-1980), including correspondence, minutes, constitution and by-laws, membership lists, agenda, memorial, resolutions, financial records, and miscellaneous.

The first yearbook published by the students of East Carolina Teachers College, The Tecoan, debuted in 1923. The name of the yearbook changed to the Buccaneer in 1953. The Buccaneer suspended publication from 1976-1978 and 1991-2005, finally ceasing in 2018. It was superseded by Anchors Away in 2019.

The Attic officially opened September 7, 1971, in Greenville, NC. The nightclub served as a local venue for entertainment and live music. The collection spans 1970-1985 and includes photographs, posters, advertisements, t-shirts, and a few publications. The strength of the collection is in documenting the variety of music performed as well as the club's later efforts to branch out into comedy and other forms of entertainment.

Collection includes a photograph album kept by three men as they travelled from Ohio to Warren County, North Carolina, (November 16-30, 1917) as they accompanied a train car load of cattle. Included are images of trains, train bridges, the farm ("plantation") belonging to N. A. Connell at Norlina and Warren Plains, North Carolina, Connell family members, farm equipment, and the process of cotton production (being picked, cotton gin, spinning cotton).

This collection consists of an autograph book possibly kept by Elizabeth Williams while she was attending Greenville High School in Greenville, North Carolina. The entries have dates for 1942 and 1943. Besides having comments and poems written by her girlfriends, there are also entries written by members of the military forces (during World War II) and a listing of local men and what branch of the military they belong to. This autograph book was found in the attic of 2707 E. Third St. in Greenville, N.C.

Roger C. Schlobin Papers (ca. 1963-2013), including bibliographies, correspondence, clippings, contracts, computer diskettes, compact disk, drafts of published works of fiction and literary criticism, research materials, reviews and other manuscripts related to science fiction and fantasy, and to the literary career of Andre Norton.

Papers (1867-1869, 1885) of Quaker, who refused to serve in Civil War and who became a tax assessor and farmer near Kinston, NC, and state business agent and treasurer for the NC Farmers' Alliance, 1894-1900, consisting of letterpress book, financial records, Republican party politics, security notes and press, store account.

Papers (1861-1918) including correspondence referring family papers, Civil War letters.

This collection contains 539 letters (1943-1945) written by Jack Ladd Carr (1924-2010) to his family in Pennsylvania while he was stationed in Fort Jackson (South Carolina) for basic training, in Camp San Luis Obispo and Camp Pendleton in California, and the Pacific Theatre during World War II. Carr joined the U.S. Army in March 1943 and returned to the United States in December of 1945. He was involved in attacks on Anguar Island and took part in Operation Forager.
