Letters and ephemera (1926-1929) related to the life of Agnes Wadlington [Barrett], who was born in Trigg County, Kentucky in 1902, before she took a job at East Carolina Teachers College (now East Carolina University) as secretary to the president of the college. Also found with these papers are many photographs of members of the Putnam family of Murray, Kentucky. The only connection between Mrs. Barrett and the Putnam family appears to be that both she and Louise Vey Putnam Carter's husband Herbert Leland Carter both worked at East Carolina University. An 1982 engagement calendar kept by Mrs. Barrett documents her life during retirement in Greenville, North Carolina.

Scrapbooks (1934-1954) containing correspondence, clippings, photographs, programs, and other material related to Lewis S. Bullock's work developing and conducting community choruses formed in rural Eastern North Carolina towns in the 1930s, the Eastern Carolina Symphonic Choral Association, the North Carolina Symphonic Choir, the International Male Chorus in the U.S. Army during World War II and the American Male Chorus which was formed after the war ended and finally disbanded in 1954.

Records (1939-2009) of the North Carolina Huguenot Society including membership applications, membership records, meeting agendas, minutes, invitations, constitution, by-laws, treasury reports, correspondence, and publications.

Collection (1796-1960) including photocopies of correspondence, legal records, poetry, activities of Isaac Taylor, sale of the sloop the Rainbow, financial papers and genealogies related to King, Slover, Taylor, Hollister, and Bryan families of New Bern, North Carolina.

Also included are financial records and land records (especially for the Roebuck family for the 1870s through the 1920s), photographs and ECTC annuals.

The Ormond Family Papers (ca. 1770-1925) include correspondence, land grants, financial records, school notes taken at Trinity College, pamphlets, newspaper clippings, and photographs pertaining to the Ormond and Turnage families of Dobbs, Greene and Pitt Counties, North Carolina. Considerable material pertains to State Senator Yancey T. Ormond of Greene County.

Collection (1789-1864) including correspondence, estate inventory, Civil War passes, land grants, letter describing death, opinion on health conditions.

The collection is comprised of two ledger books and a booklet. The ledgers are from 1945 to 1951 and 1952 to 1958. In them is a list of examinations with date, name, date paid, and amount. A separate section is maintained for "negro" or "colored" patients.

The collection contains papers related to Dr. Mabe's personal medical practice, personal papers, product advertisements, and journal.
