The Round Table Book Club Records document the history and activities of the Round Table Book Club of Greenville, North Carolina, from approximately 1910 through 2014. The collection contains constitutions and bylaws, meeting minutes, attendance records, yearbooks and annual programs, correspondence, event materials, historical writings, photographs, artifacts, and audiotape recordings. These materials provide insight into the intellectual, cultural, and civic activities of the organization and its members, including reading programs, lectures, anniversary celebrations, and community engagement. Particularly extensive are the club's yearbooks and meeting minutes, which provide a nearly continuous record of the organization's operations, leadership, reading selections, and program themes across multiple decades. The collection also documents the club's role in local cultural life, including its involvement with Sheppard Memorial Library and other civic initiatives in Greenville and Pitt County.

Papers (1830-2011, undated [bulk 1830-1973]) relating to the Young – Spicer family of Fredericks Hall, Louisa County, Virginia and related families living in Virginia, Mississippi and Louisiana, including correspondence relating to the civil war, businesses, taxes & family matters; journals, photographic prints; genealogical and historical files and a listing of the gravestones in the Young-Spicer Cemetery at the family home, "Locust Grove" at Fredericks Hall, Virginia. Map [between 1737 and 1741?] of the British Empire in American with the French, Spanish and the Dutch Settlements Adjacent Thereto, by Henry Popple issued by I. Covens and C. Mortier, Amsterdam, extending from 5- 55 North Latitude; 47- 107 West Longitude. Engraved at the top is "Carte Particuliere de L'Amerique Septentrionale Map." 20 x 18.75 x .125 inches. Full and vivid original color.

Records (2008-2016) document the history of the Perry-Weston Educational and Cultural Institute, Inc., from its founding in 2008 by Mr. C. Rudolph Knight, Dr. Florence A. Armstrong, and Dr. Lawrence W. S. Auld to promote African American history, genealogy, culture, and arts, particularly in Edgecombe County (Princeville and Tarboro) and North Carolina, until its dissolution in 2016. Included are programs, invitations, circulars, posters, correspondence, clippings, and articles of incorporation and dissolution that document exhibits, historic talks and presentations, tours, a Nonagenarian Tea, and publications.

History of USS Fogg (DE-57) (undated) by Salvatore J. DiMilla and an account of the torpedoing of the Fogg, entitled "December 20, 1944" by Everett N. Schrader with Leslie Goodwin.

This collection consists of the records (1938-2014) of the Betsy Dowdy Chapter (Elizabeth City, North Carolina) of the DAR. Included are thirty-nine scrapbooks (1939-2012), fourteen Constitution Week scrapbooks (1979-2008), minutes (1938-2009), executive board minutes (1988-2010), award certificates (1970s-2014), treasurers' reports and other financial records (1992-2011), publications (1938-1958), and loose items (1940s-2000s). The scrapbooks contain photographs, clippings, programs, minutes, brochures, and circulars reflecting the activities of the Betsy Dowdy Chapter.
