Collection contains mainly land records (1793-1867, 1889, 1912) pertaining to the Summers family of Guilford County, North Carolina. Also included are Richardson's Monitor of Free-Masonry written by Jabez Richardson (publication date unknown), and a few letters (1904-1924).

Collection includes a minute book for Knights of Pythias Dobbin Lodge #13 located at Fayetteville, North Carolina, documenting its beginnings on January 12, 1874, through July 26, 1876, a typed history of the lodge, three receipts, and two meeting invitation forms.

This collection includes various photographs, letters, and genealogical information related to several families from North Carolina and Virginia. Most of the collection consists of family photographs from the late 1800s and early 1900s, including pictures of unknown members of the included families and some buildings.

Papers of Reynolds Price (1853-1986 [Bulk: 1978-1986]) documenting the life and literary career of the prolific Macon, North Carolina-born American poet, novelist, dramatist, essayist, and educator at Duke University; consisting of manuscripts, loose manuscripts transferred from the Stuart Wright Book Collection relating mainly to his publications A Common Room (1954), Mustian (1983), Private Contentment (1984), and to Reynolds Price: A Bibliography, 1949-1984 (1986), compiled by Stuart Wright; also photographic prints; proofs of works Price reviewed for publishers; and printed materials and oversized materials.

Fosso (1977-1978) documenting the life and career of the Minnesota-born American poet and educator at Wake Forest University, 1964-; consisting of an octavo brochure including a poem entitled Arranging, by D. R. Fosso, published by Press For Privacy, Winston-Salem, NC (1978); also a small portfolio of poetry broadsides entitled Two Poems Two, including Storm, a poem by D. R. Fosso & For I Have Spoken Too Often, a poem by Doug Abrams, published by Press For Privacy, Winston-Salem, NC (1977). Note: On verso of Arranging printed: "Twenty copies have been printed. Papers of Eleanor Ross Taylor (1940-2008 [Bulk: 1989-2008], undated) documenting the life and literary career of the noted Falls Church, Virginia-born American poet, short story writer, and literary critic, consisting of edited manuscripts, proofs of published material & printed materials, including The Soul and Body of John Brown: A Poem, by Muriel Ruykeyser (1940); also including correspondence with Stuart Wright concerning her husband Peter Hillsman Taylor's papers; and loose manuscript items transferred from the Stuart Wright Book Collection.

This collection contains correspondence, financial, and legal records (ca. 1830s-1870s, especially 1850s-1860s) related to Bladen County, North Carolina. Most of material is addressed to William Hendon White, who was Hugh A. Clark's great grandfather. W. H. White was sheriff of Bladen County during the early Reconstruction years (definitely 1866-1867 and perhaps longer) and there are communications with the 2nd Military District for this period. A lot of the correspondence is between W. H. White and his brother George Montgomery White (1828-1860) during the early 1850s while George was working on his 1853 A. B. degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Collection (1902-2003) of genealogical and historical research files compiled by John Henry Oden III. Also includes the R. C. Chadwick Mercantile Records, Claude F. Pilley Papers, and the Windley Family Papers. Consists mostly of copies of wills, tax records, letters, deeds, newspapers, birth certificates, family trees, and photographs related to families in Beaufort, Washington, Hyde, and Halifax counties, N.C.

P. I. Moye, was an executor to all claimants against the estate of Claodisha S. Nettles in 1854. The collection is from 7 November 1854 and includes two notices to all claimants against Nettle's estate to present claims in the County Court, Pitt County, North Carolina.

Included are a copy of the Daniels-Murphrey Family History compiled and edited by Eleanor Daniels Casey in 1993, a photograph of the USS Nebraska that Benjamin Daniels of Wayne County, North Carolina, sailed to Europe on in WWI, and three photographs of Benjamin Daniels in his WWI US Navy uniform.

This collection includes a copy of a typescript of the autobiographical sketch written in 1893 by Eastern North Carolina physician and educator Richard Henry Lewis, Sr. (1832-1917). It refers to important family history in his background and describes important events in his life up until 1893.

Photocopies of a diary (May 30-Aug. 7, 1862) kept by Alfred F. Williams of the 1st North Carolina Cavalry during the Civil War covering troop movements, his capture, and his exchange. Also includes a general store account record (1865-1867).

This collection contains the history of the Service League of Greenville, North Carolina (1951-2023). Present in the collection are the records of the organization, scrapbooks and photographs, uniforms worn by members, membership rosters, posters, clippings, and a cookbook. The material present in the collection includes both physical items and digital files.
