Papers of Tom McHale (1977) documenting the life and literary career of the Avoca, Pennsylvania-born American novelist; consisting of a bound, uncorrected, proof of The Lady from Boston: A Novel , by Tom McHale (1977).

The Nell Wise Wechter Papers contains copies of the author's books, Taffy of Torpedo Junction (1957), Betsy Dowdy's Ride (1960), Swamp Girl (1971), and The Mighty Midgetts of Chicamacomico (1974). Also included are the typed and written drafts, typed manuscripts with revisions, original manuscripts, and galley proofs for her books. There is also correspondence from the Library of Congress, British Embassy, and Mariners Museum regarding Wechter's requests for information to assist her in writing her novels.

The Gerda Nischan Papers contains letters (1930, 1946-1947), handwritten in German between Otto Baumann and his wife, Barbara Hock, all but one written during the time Baumann was a German soldier in a French prisoner of war camp, 1946-1947, and typescripts in English by Baumann's daughter, Gerda Nischa, including an explanation of the letters, and 7 poems inspired by the letters. In 2010 Gerda Nischan wrote a book based on the letters titled Briefe an einen Kriegsgefangenen, an English translation written in 2014 (Letters to a Prisoner of War), and a novel in German (2013) called Dieses neue Leben which are included in these papers.

Records (1958-1997) for the Greenville [North Carolina] Garden Club include scrapbooks, meeting minutes, yearbooks, correspondence, newsletters, clippings, photographs, and award application packets.
