Cromartie, during her service as vice chair of the executive committee of the Democratic Women of North Carolina, including correspondence, lists of workers, by-laws, newsletter, articles, and miscellaneous materials pertaining to Democratic Party activities in North Carolina.

This collection features oral history interviews conducted in 2011 with twelve members of the Latino community of eastern North Carolina who occupy positions ranging from recognized leadership to informal influence in the lives of Latino youth. Their occupational backgrounds are varied including professional, entrepreneurial, technical and working class trades. The interviewers were Dr. Ricardo Contreras and Dr. David Griffith of the Anthropology Department at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.

Papers (1864-1866) of soldier from Beaufort County who was killed in action near Petersburg, Va., during the Civil War while serving in the 33 Regiment of N.C. Troops, including correspondence, especially one notifying his mother of his death.

The Richland County Ballot (1876) is a "tissue ballot" that was used in the South Carolina "White Supremacy Election."

The Rich Elkins Papers (1994-2002) is a collection of publications and clippings on the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender communities in North Carolina, South Carolina, and New York with some of the materials from the LGBT community in Greenville, N.C. located in Eastern North Carolina. Richard "Rich" Elkins has been active in the Eastern N.C. LGBT community for many years and these materials reflect his involvement.

Roger C. Schlobin Papers (ca. 1963-2013), including bibliographies, correspondence, clippings, contracts, computer diskettes, compact disk, drafts of published works of fiction and literary criticism, research materials, reviews and other manuscripts related to science fiction and fantasy, and to the literary career of Andre Norton.
