The first yearbook published by the students of East Carolina Teachers College, The Tecoan, debuted in 1923. The name of the yearbook changed to the Buccaneer in 1953. The Buccaneer suspended publication from 1976-1978 and 1991-2005, finally ceasing in 2018. It was superseded by Anchors Away in 2019.

John R. Wheless classroom notebooks while at College of Physicians and Surgeons in Baltimore from 1889-1890. Notebook subjects include surgery, anatomy, obstetrics, physiology, and gynecology.

Collection contains receipts from Nowell's Drug Store in Wendell, North Carolina. The receipts are from ordering medicinal and general supplies between 1915 and 1937.

1866 letter from John H. Logue in Greencastle, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, to Wm. Grigg. A 20th Century letter from Mary Bailey Davis explains who someone referred to in the letter as "Miss Mittie" is.
