The slides were taken during her six-month research sabbatical in Oxford, England, in 1982.

This collection contains the records of the Concord Primitive Baptist Church located near Creswell, N.C., including the 1808 deed, and three minute books covering the years 1810 through 1978. The meeting house still stands and is under the care of the Concord Primitive Baptist Church Preservation Society, Inc. The collection also includes a copy of the published minutes which were transcribed by the donor, Shirleyan B. Phelps, twenty-four copies of Annual Session Minutes (1914-1990) for the Kehukee Primitive Baptist Association (of which this church was a member),and a page of Bible records for the Ambrose family.

Papers of Barry Hannah (1960-2016 [Bulk: 1972-2016], undated) documenting the life and literary career of the noted Meridian, Mississippi-born, novelist and educator at the University of Mississippi, where he directed the Masters of Fine Arts program; consisting of correspondence, manuscripts, photographic materials, loose manuscript items transferred from the Stuart Wright Book Collection, proofs of published materials, & printed broadsides of his poem Boomerang and other works.

Papers of Harry Crews (1973-1987, undated) documenting the life and literary career of the noted Alma, Georgia-born American novelist, playwright, short story writer, essayist & educator at the University of Florida, where he taught creative writing; including proofs of published materials, photographic prints, loose manuscript items transferred from the Stuart Wright Book Collection, printed materials & oversized materials.

Papers of Mark Smith (1967-1971) documenting the life and literary career of the noted Michigan-born American novelist and professor of English at the University of New Hampshire; consisting of a bound, paperback, proof of his novel The Middleman (1967); also an oversized periodical entitled Invisible City (1971).
