Photocopies and handwritten transcription of the Riddick--Hinton--Kittrell Bible Records referring to the Riddick family of Gates County, the Hinton family of Pasquotank County, and the Kittrell family of Pitt County, North Carolina. The Bible was published in 1857 and the birth, death, and marriage records span the years from 1820 through 1926.

Papers of Eleanor Ross Taylor (1940-2008 [Bulk: 1989-2008], undated) documenting the life and literary career of the noted Falls Church, Virginia-born American poet, short story writer, and literary critic, consisting of edited manuscripts, proofs of published material & printed materials, including The Soul and Body of John Brown: A Poem, by Muriel Ruykeyser (1940); also including correspondence with Stuart Wright concerning her husband Peter Hillsman Taylor's papers; and loose manuscript items transferred from the Stuart Wright Book Collection.

Collection (1963-1988, n.d. [Bulk: 1980-1988]) of photographic prints and negatives of city government officials and employees, buildings and activities taken in and around Greenville, North Carolina, for the City of Greenville (NC) Public Works Office.

Records (1966-2006, undated) documenting the activities of the League of Women Voters of Pitt County, North Carolina, a women's political organization, including historical materials, board of trustees files, publications, clippings, research files, membership files, financial records, scrapbooks, oversized materials, correspondence, annual reports, photographic prints and slides, bylaws, and position statements.

This collection consists of materials (1911-1991) related to Judge Walter L. Small of Elizabeth City, N.C., and his family, especially his sons Admiral Walter L. Small, Jr., Judge J. Herbert White Small, and Charles Buxton Small plus relatives in the White family. Included are photograph albums; scrapbooks relating to local, state, and national events and to WWII; a memory and fellowship book kept by Elizabeth Peele White while attending St. Mary's School (1911-1913); ledgers including one (1919-1937) kept by Elizabeth City dentist Dr. John Herbert White; and certificates.

Papers (1917-1918) of Lt. William T. Clements documenting his experience with the 17th U.S. Aero Squadron, American Expeditionary Forces, during training in the U.S. and England, and service in France during World War I. Included are a diary, and a microfilm copy of his World War I photograph album.
