This collection contains the administrative records for the School of Communication including syllabi, faculty meeting minutes, annual reports, unit codes, and printed materials such as announcements, brochures, and publications.

Collection (1868-1897) consisting of correspondence, contract and a newspaper.

Account book (1851-1852, 1864) of Wilmington, NC resident, containing brief financial accounts and meditations.

Papers (1861-1868) including correspondence, information on defense, wartime letters written to his future wife, assorted incidents.

Records (1872-1892) including correspondence, minute book, ledger, social organizations, fraternal organizations, debts and credits, dues, taxes, fines, and miscellaneous.

Vaughan Family Papers (1872-1900, 1969, undated) includes photograph albums containing images of family members from Hertford County, North Carolina. Also included is Uriah Vaughan correspondence (1876-1887) and a photocopy of the 1969 appraisal of Uriah Vaughan Heirs Property in Murfreesboro, North Carolina.

Papers (1727, 1823-1896, 1924, 1947) of Martin County, NC family, including correspondence, land records, plats, mortgages, a recipe, promissory notes, summonses, account of estate sales, receipt, and miscellany.

Photocopies of papers (1757-1899) of Pitt County, NC, Family, including correspondence, land records, estates papers, a will, school reports, and miscellany.

Records (1913-1934) of Greenville, NC Buggy and Automobile dealership, including photographs, price list, catalog, and chart of accounts.

Papers (1833-1986) compiled by Elizabeth "Bessie" Hampton Wade Wooten, the wife of noted Greenville, NC, Democratic Party political leader Frank M. Wooten, Sr. Materials include correspondence, clippings, ephemera, financial records, maps, newspapers, photographic prints, photograph album, printed materials and scrapbook materials related to her education, friends, family, travels, and social interests.

Papers (1961-2007) of the Halifax County Historical Association (N.C.) including correspondence of general nature concerned with group tours, bibliography sketch, financial records, membership rolls, itineraries etc. Various historical documents, photographs, ephemera and clippings relate to the history of Halifax County including Rosenwald schools and Brick School among many other topics (1816-2011). Other items (1972-2011) such as manuscripts, printed materials, digital materials, and a video recording concern the work of Maxville Burt Williams, a social studies teacher, principal, author and playwright and his works relating to the history of Halifax County, North Carolina, including First For Freedom a play about the Halifax Resolves of 1776; The Struggle, a play about Halifax County during the American Revolution; and The Schroonchers, a play about Eastern North Carolina in the summer of 1948.

The collection consists of photographs, diplomas and other educational records, correspondence, artifacts, and ephemera from Clara G. Gentry, a registered nurse.
