This collection contains a single Civil War Diary (October 1, 1862 - March 24, 1863) kept by William H. H. Leach.

Some material also relates to the Whitaker and Heptinstall families. A large part of this collection also documents the history of Littleton and institutions there such as schools, churches, and Littleton Female College.
