Papers (1807-1937) including correspondence, deeds, chattel mortgages, warranty mortgages, legal records, accounts, a surveyor's map, and a photograph related to the Credle and related families of Hyde County, North Carolina.

Oral history interviews conducted with people connected with the health sciences, mainly in North Carolina. They include audiocassettes, videocassettes, CDs, DVDs, and transcripts.

These records (1894-2000) pertain to the Salisbury-Rowan Lodge No. 100 of the Knights of Pythias in North Carolina, the Salisbury Lodge No. 24 and the Rowan Lodge No. 100. Included are Minute books, Membership Roll books, semi-annual reports, correspondence, financial papers, applications for membership, withdrawal and transfer cards, dismissal and suspension certificates, rosters, directories, photographs and publications that contain procedures for ranks and rituals. Two documents (1898, undated) relate to the Zeb Vance Lodge No. 65 of North Carolina.

Collection (1942 – 2019, undated) of documents, programs, notes, correspondence, interviews, and photographic prints documenting the history and membership of the U. S. Navy B-1 Band, the first All-African American band to serve in the U. S. Navy during World War II. Material includes historical and biographical sketches of the band and ites members, and photographs of the band, rosters, the music and lyrics, interviews, and documentation of race relations in North Carolina, the United States, and the United States military during the 20th century.

Papers of Dara Wier (1981) documenting the life and literary career of the New Orleans, Louisiana-born American poet who is also director of the Masters of Fine Arts program for poets and writers at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, who was married novelist and short story writer Allen Wier (m. 1969-1983) [#1169.103] and then to poet James Tate until his death in 2015; consisting of a broadside of her poem The Consequences of Weather (1981), autographed Dara Wier.

Papers (1963) documenting the life and literary career of prolific New York City-born American poet, anti-war and environmental activist, W. S. [William Stanley] Merwin (b. 1927), consisting of a loose manuscript item transferred from a book in the Stuart Wright Book Collection entitled Seven Princeton Poets: Louis Coxe, George Garrett, Theodore Holmes, Galway Kinnell, William Meredith, W. S. Merwin, and Bink Noll which was a special edition of the Princeton University Library Quarterly (1963) edited by Sherman Hawkins.

Papers (1869-1870, 1873-1878, 1893) consisting of diaries containing weather information, financial statements, description of tunnel being constructed, planting, etc.
