This collection contains information regarding the Alumni Association's constitution, administrative records, records about College Day, homecoming, faculty data, The Lost Colony drama, Outstanding Alumni Awards, legislative committee, alumni loyalty fund, and the annual fund drive, as well as newsletters and brochures.

This collection consists of two chromolithographs produced by the Navy Records Society in 1901 depicting naval engagements of the Third Anglo Dutch War (March 27, 1672 to February 19, 1674). The prints illustrate the Battle of Solebay (May 28, 1672) and the Battle of Texel (August 21, 1673). The Battle of Solebay chromolithograph is divided into three sections, each titled to represent successive phases of the engagement and containing extensive printed inscriptions. The Battle of Texel chromolithograph is divided into seven sections, each bearing printed titles that mark specific times and stages of the battle and accompanied by printed inscriptions.

Papers (1736–2018) including correspondence, financial documents, legal documents, personal and family materials, printed materials, and photographic materials collected by E. Frank Stephenson Jr. relating to the Benjamin B. Winborne Family, the R. J. Gatling Family, E. Frank Stephenson Jr., and other people in North Carolina and Virginia, especially the Murfreesboro, North Carolina, area. The documents were collected by E. Frank Stephenson Jr. for research use while writing numerous historical publications and to make the items available for other researchers to utilize. Many of Mr. Stephenson's publications are also included in the collection.

The papers contain material related to the life of Alison Hearne Atkins. A graduate of East Carolina University, Ms. Atkins earned a bachelor's degree in music education in 1952 and a master's degree in vocal performanace in 1961. She taught voice at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas for 28 years and later taught voice at a private studio. Ms. Atkins performed operatic works and performed and accompanied Scottish folk and art songs at Grandfather Mountain Highland Games in Linville, North Carolina for over 40 years. Included are notebooks containing teaching notes, programs, and clippings related to her career; clippings related to her former students; cards; letters; and documents relative to her being chosen as one of East Carolina University's 100 Incredible Women in 2007. The papers also include compact discs, an audiocassette, and a 5" reel to reel tape.

This collection consists 16 unique images, with the remaining items consisting of multiple copies, of file photos of Amelia Earhart, dating from 1918 through 1937. Images include celebrations of Amelia Earhart's first Trans Atlantic flights in 1928, her appearances for the First Powder Puff Air Derby, her attempts to establish various records, and her appearance before the United States Senate. The earliest image depicts Earhart's graduation portrait from 1918. The last photo was taken in Oakland, California, just before her departure to Hawaii in 1937. Two images include Amy Otis Earhart, mother of Amelia Earhart. Most of the photographs in this collection are identified as coming from the files of Underwood & Underwood, a longtime supplier of news photographs in New York, New York.

This collection contains copies of Who Knows...A Reporter's Guide to Experts at East Carolina University.

Collection (1848-2002) of Pace family papers, including documents; photograph and postcard albums; scrapbooks; loose photographs, deeds, legal documents, and newspaper clippings; printed yearbooks, catalogs, textbooks, and newspapers; genealogical charts, postcards, brochures, World War I Army Medical Corps documents, and ephemera relating to physician Dr. Karl Busbee Pace, Sr. and his sons, Dr. Karl B. Pace, Jr., Charles Taylor Pace, and J. T. W."Tommy" Pace and their families in Robeson, Chatham and Pitt counties, NC.

Official records (1915-2025) of Immanuel Baptist Church, Greenville, N.C., including correspondence, minutes of Board of Deacons and Church Conferences, financial records, membership and donation records, photographs, building records for the church building on Elm Street, and several church record books.

Michael J. Zagray was a cook aboard a U.S. Naval vessel during the early 1960s. The collection spans the years 1954-1963. It includes 69 black and white, 8" x 10" photographic prints and 3 mimeographed typescripts on the United Nations Command Military Armistice Commission meetings held at MAC HQ Area, Korea, in 1963 and 1 mimeographed typescript on "Unusual Joint Duty Officers' Meetings" from 1 January 1954 to 1 October 1963.

Papers (1830-2011, undated [bulk 1830-1973]) relating to the Young – Spicer family of Fredericks Hall, Louisa County, Virginia and related families living in Virginia, Mississippi and Louisiana, including correspondence relating to the civil war, businesses, taxes & family matters; journals, photographic prints; genealogical and historical files and a listing of the gravestones in the Young-Spicer Cemetery at the family home, "Locust Grove" at Fredericks Hall, Virginia. The Phoenix Historical Society: African American History of Edgecombe County was founded in 2001 to recover, record, and promote the unique history of Edgecombe County (North Carolina) as experienced by members of its African American community. This collection contains the society's official records, brochures, event programs, and publications related to research, community events and sponsored projects.

Papers (1997, 1999, undated) and correspondence (1999) from United States Naval Officer Asa A. Clark, III prtaining to Clark's service and the Attack on Pearl Harbor.

The Round Table Book Club Records document the history and activities of the Round Table Book Club of Greenville, North Carolina, from approximately 1910 through 2014. The collection contains constitutions and bylaws, meeting minutes, attendance records, yearbooks and annual programs, correspondence, event materials, historical writings, photographs, artifacts, and audiotape recordings. These materials provide insight into the intellectual, cultural, and civic activities of the organization and its members, including reading programs, lectures, anniversary celebrations, and community engagement. Particularly extensive are the club's yearbooks and meeting minutes, which provide a nearly continuous record of the organization's operations, leadership, reading selections, and program themes across multiple decades. The collection also documents the club's role in local cultural life, including its involvement with Sheppard Memorial Library and other civic initiatives in Greenville and Pitt County.
