Heavily ornate steel engravings at boarders with 3 insets of images of Table Mountain, Chimney Rock, French Broad River and a Plan of Charleston. Evenly browned with crease at center fold. Hand-colored. Made on wove paper. Location: Vault.

Collection consists of a two volumes titled "Journal of a Cruise from Norfolk, Virginia to the Pacific Ocean in the United States Frigate United States, Isaac Hull, Esq'r, Commander" kept by Philadelphian midshipman Lawrence Penington from 4 December 1823, through 22 April 1827. United States was one of six frigates authorized to be constructed by the Naval Act of 1794 and it served as the flagship for Commodore Hull who was head of the American naval squadron on the Pacific Coast of South America. Penington documents navigation statistics, weather reports and daily ship life, along with the larger issues of interaction between the American naval squadron and British, Spanish, Chilean, Colombian and Peruvian naval and military counterparts.

Includes medical school class notes, medical licenses, patient notes, account books, certificates, diplomas, and photographs.

This collection contains Bible Records (from 1891 Bible) for the Daniel S. (born 1817) and Caroline (born 1823) Brock family and for the Caroline Leary Brock (b. 1895, Kinston, N.C.) and Roger Neal Sutton (born 1893, La Grange, N.C.) family. Also included is the 1913 City High School Commencement program, Kinston, N.C.

Joyner Library at East Carolina University, in October 1973, prior to the construction of two extra floors and the addition of a new west wing to the building, for Library Science 1000 class; also photocopies of correspondence, historical research reports, and newspaper clippings about the Greenville Town Common Confederate flags controversy, in 1983–1989; also photocopies of newspaper clippings about the Confederate flag, 1983–1989.
