The Records of the East Carolina Center on Aging contains annual reports and publications.
The records of Earl Trevathan Papers are comprised of Greenville, North Carolina, materials relating to urban renewal, Greenville's housing problems, redevelopment, land utilization and marketability, and public education. Also included are articles and journals about Martin Luther King, Jr. and World War II.
Collection includes a photograph album kept by three men as they travelled from Ohio to Warren County, North Carolina, (November 16-30, 1917) as they accompanied a train car load of cattle. Included are images of trains, train bridges, the farm ("plantation") belonging to N. A. Connell at Norlina and Warren Plains, North Carolina, Connell family members, farm equipment, and the process of cotton production (being picked, cotton gin, spinning cotton).
This collection contains literary and personal papers of Dr. Peter L. Makuck, Distinguished Professor Emeritus of the English Department, East Carolina University, Greenville, North Carolina, where he taught from 1978 to 2006. Included are correspondence, lecture and teaching notes, and drafts of poems and short stories. A large portion of this collection pertains to the publication Tar River Poetry from its founding in 1978 by Dr. Makuck, as a publication of the English Department at ECU, until 2015. Included are correspondence and all but one of the issues.

Commissioner of Revenue (1929-1942), including a biographical sketch, newspaper clippings, photographs, and speeches relating to state tax issues, his campaigns for N.C. governor, dissatisfaction with public school history textbooks and other aspects of his life.
Collection (2005) of research material regarding the Battle of Wyse Forks, North Carolina, compiled by the donor for Through the Eyes of Soldiers: The Battle of Wyse Forks, Kinston, North Carolina, March 7-10, 1865, by Tom J. Edwards and William Rowland, edited by Ashleigh D. Brothers, published by the Lenoir County Historical Association, Kinston, N.C., in 2006, including typescripts of unit histories, excerpts from official records and published works, and manuscript maps of the battle.
These records (1894-2000) pertain to the Salisbury-Rowan Lodge No. 100 of the Knights of Pythias in North Carolina, the Salisbury Lodge No. 24 and the Rowan Lodge No. 100. Included are Minute books, Membership Roll books, semi-annual reports, correspondence, financial papers, applications for membership, withdrawal and transfer cards, dismissal and suspension certificates, rosters, directories, photographs and publications that contain procedures for ranks and rituals. Two documents (1898, undated) relate to the Zeb Vance Lodge No. 65 of North Carolina.
