The Company 517, U.S. Naval Training Station Group Photograph Collection consists of a single group image dated June 3, 1943, depicting members of Company 517 at a U.S. Naval Training Station during World War II. The reverse of the photograph is annotated with numbered identifications for numerous individuals, many accompanied by associated hometowns primarily from Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Iowa, and California. Several annotations are illegible or incomplete.

Papers of physician C.H. Brantley (1860 – 1942). The papers consist mainly of a medical school photograph with cadaver and prescription slips.

Papers include correspondence (1938, 1960s, 1990s, 2013), deeds (1950s), photographs, certificates, an oral history on CD done in 2015, clippings, paper items related to World War II, and 2 panoramic photographs of Scottish Rite members in New Bern (1958, 1965).

House of Representatives and Greenville Mayor (1969-1971) Frank Marion Wooten, Jr. (1916-1992) consisting of correspondence, pamphlets, proposed bills, reports, petitions, resolutions, bulletins, periodicals, printed bills, and photographs. Crime and punishment-related topics, and tax issues are major topics covered.

Journal of a Cruize in the USS Independence, Commodore William Bainbridge's Flag Ship, Capt. William M. Crane, Commander, from Boston, July 2nd, 1815 (3 July–15 November 1815), compiled by an anonymous crew member, which describes the first overseas mission of the first ship of the line commissioned by the United States Navy, to deal with the piratical acts of the Barbary Powers against American merchant commerce in the Mediterranean Sea, bound in original calf leather over marbled boards, entries clean and legible; also a letter from William M. Crane, Commanding Officer, USS Delaware, Port Mahon (20 September 1829) to Lt. William N, McKean, U.S. sloop Warren, ordering him to report to Lt. Thomas M. Newell, commander of the U.S. schooner Porpoise.

A journal (1/19 – 6/29/1859) written by Augustus M. Handley, a young British Army officer in the 19th Regiment of Foot, of a voyage from Gravesend, England, to Calcutta, India, aboard the sailing ship H.M.S. Bucton Castle with Captain Moorsom commanding. The journal contains a detailed description of daily life aboard the Bucton Castle, including various personalities on board, daily activities, an explanation of the ship's time-keeping, a drawing of the ship with parts labeled, notes on the how-to of navigation, changing weather conditions, sea conditions, and meetings with the various ships along the way.
