Collection (ca. 1899-2011, undated) documenting the history of Pepsi-Cola in New Bern, N.C.; the involvement of the Minges family in the soft drink business, 1923-1992, in Greenville, Tarboro, and Rocky Mount, N.C.; and the Minges Bottling Group, Inc., of Ayden, N.C. Materials include clippings, correspondence, contracts and financial records, advertising materials, photographic prints and compact discs, printing plates, printed materials, trademark registration certificates, video recordings, ephemera,etc. Digital files document the history of the Minges family of Catawba and Pitt Counties, North Carolina, and the history of the Minges Bottling Group.

This collection contains documents (1821-1994, bulk 1860s-1910s) related to the Newsom family, especially Marion Eaton Newsom, of Littleton, Warren and Halifax Counties, North Carolina. Included are correspondence, land records, legal records, financial papers, and a family history written by Marion E. Newsom (1909, addendum 1911) about the Newsom and Nicholson families. Some material also relates to the Whitaker and Heptinstall families. A large part of this collection also documents the history of Littleton and institutions there such as schools, churches, and Littleton Female College.

The Rich Elkins Papers (1994-2002) is a collection of publications and clippings on the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender communities in North Carolina, South Carolina, and New York with some of the materials from the LGBT community in Greenville, N.C. located in Eastern North Carolina. Richard "Rich" Elkins has been active in the Eastern N.C. LGBT community for many years and these materials reflect his involvement.

Papers include military record and report of separation and registered nurse certificate from the North Carolina Board of Nurse Examiners.

Collection of photographic materials dating from 1944 to 1974 created by Dr. Samuel T. White, II, a Greenville, North Carolina optometrist. Materials include photographic prints, negatives, slides, indexes, and printed forms documenting personal, professional, and artistic photography. Subjects include portraits of family and acquaintances as well as landscape and community scenes primarily depicting Eastern North Carolina. An additional group of forty five black and white photographic prints is also included.

This collection contains yearbooks (1953-1964) for the Greenville Music Club (Greenville, North Carolina) and a program for the 41st Annual Convention (May 8-11, 1957) of the North Carolina Federation of Music Clubs.

These papers (1848-1882) belonged to Johnson H. Bryan, Jr.(1824-1883) of Craven County, North Carolina. Included are deeds, statements of debt and obligation, receipts, receipts for purchase and sale of enslaved people, correspondence, mortgages, bankruptcy papers, and a resolution of complaint related to tariff discriminations and maintenance deficiencies on the Atlantic and North Carolina Railroad.

The William Cobb Whitfield Papers consists of a class notebook, ephemera found in books belonging to Whitfield, and various other papers ranging from 1873 to 1936. Additionally, notes from a conversation between Miles J. Smith, donor of collection and great-nephew of Whitfield, and Ruth Moskop, from History Collections at Laupus Library.
