Scrapbook created by Bertha Bulluck commemorating her time as a student at East Carolina Teachers College as well her early life in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The scrapbook contains letters, writings, newspaper clippings, memorobilia, and other personal items related to Bulluck's time at ECTC. Materials related to Bulluck's family and personal life were removed from the scrapbook prior to its donation by her family.

This collection (1980s-2010s) contains material related to the life of Michael J. Hamer, an English professor at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, from 1986 through 2013, and a prolific songwriter, singer, and band leader who died in 2017. Included are notebooks containing his handwritten lyrics, poems, photographs, reel to reel tapes, clippings, and other material pertaining to his musical career.

This collection contains the congressional files for U.S. House of Representatives member Walter B. Jones, Jr., who represented the 3rd Congressional District of North Carolina from 1995 until his death in 2019. Included are files, scrapbooks, media, and electronic files. The electronic files were created by his staff and included speeches, correspondence, articles, promotional material, notes and videos for the years 2005-2018.

Individuals include Woodson Bradford Fearing, Enoch Pratt Fearing, Lizzie Parker Fearing, George Fearing, Pratt Fearing, Woodruff Fearing, Emily Fearing, Emily Ramsay Commander, M. E. Fearing, Joseph Commander and Walter J. Rhode.

Collection does not contain original photographs Collection, ca. 1908-1997, of photographic prints made from cyanotype, sepia tone, and black & white photographs. Original photographs were owned by Alpheus W. Drinkwater (1875-1962), a telegrapher and correspondent for The Associate Press in Manteo, NC, who was famed for relaying the news of the Wright Brothers's first flight at Kitty Hawk, NC, on December 17, 1903.

The 113th Artillery Regiment, North Carolina National Guard Photograph Collection documents a group of fifty-two officers and enlisted men from Greenville, North Carolina, serving in the 113th Artillery Regiment, circa 1930. The photograph, possibly taken at Fort Bragg, provides visual representation of the regiment's personnel and offers insight into the North Carolina National Guard's early 20th-century organization and military presence.

Bryant L. Tritt was born on December 7, 1903 in Gaston County North Carolina. He kept a collection of family bibles. The collection spans 1778-1970 and includes photocopies of genealogical records from Tritt and his wife's family Bibles listing births, deaths, and marriages, etc. The Strength of the collection is the Tritt-Whitley family of Gaston County, Davie County, and Davidson County, North Carolina genealogical records.

This log kept my Midshipman R. H. Hammond chronicles the HMS Mars on its journeys in the Mediterranean from March 1861 through December 1862. The Mars was launched in 1848 and is the sixth ship in the British Royal Navy using this name. Besides documenting travels to Tripoli in Libya, Larnaca in Cyprus, Latakia in Syria, and Sidon and Beyrout (Beirut) in Lebanon, the log also contains manuscript charts and ink sketches of ports.

Included is genealogy correspondence written to and from Al Jones accompanied by pedigrees, family group sheets, and family histories (most written by Al Jones). Material is filed alphabetically by correspondents' last names. The main focus is the Jones family of Blount's Creek, Beaufort County, North Carolina, and related family lines including, among others, Tuten, Cratch, Stilley, Roe/Row, Orrell, Galloway, Searles, Harding, and Purefoy, and Pridgen.
