This collection contains birth, death, and marriage records from three related family Bibles for the Crocker, Haynes, Horton, Riggan, Jordan families. The date span covered is 1848 through 2005. Most of the people in these records were from the Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina area. The Jordan family was from Hamlet, North Carolina. A recent generation, the Markowski family, lived in Greenville, North Carolina.

Lenoir County Colonial Commission Records (2006–2007, undated) pertaining to events and activities honoring and celebrating the life and accomplishments of landowner, Revolutionary War general, and six term governor of North Carolina, Richard Caswell, held in Kinston, N.C., 12–19 August 2007; also including newspaper clippings, programs of events, correspondence, financial records, printed materials, digital materials, drafts, and documents regarding the publication of Clayton Brown Alexander's 1930 PhD dissertation, which was a biography of Richard Caswell, entitled "First Patriots and the Best of Men: Richard Caswell in Public Life," which was edited by W. Keats Sparrow.

Collection (1800-1919) including legal documents, court records, bills of sale, World War I army papers, business correspondence, ledger sheets and accounts, and two folio records of black cemeteries in Hyde County.

Papers (1885-2009) of prominent Washington, NC, attorney Junius Daniel Grimes, who was member of the firm Ward and Grimes, and his family and business associates, including correspondence, legal records, land records, financial papers, publications, taxes, installments, bills, survey, map, etc.

This collection (1823-1999) contains the papers of Robert "Bob" Boyd Robinson III. Robinson, born in 1948 in Halifax County, N.C., was a member of various groups including the Sons of the Revolution in the State of North Carolina. His papers include materials related to various families of Northeastern North Carolina and Southeastern Virginia.

This collection contains annual reports, self studies, faculty meeting minutes, unit code of operations, announcements, brochures, publications, programs, and audiovisual materials from the School of Theatre and Dance.

Collection (1792-1953) relating to the Hodges and Little families of Pitt County, NC, consisting of correspondence, wills, deeds, receipts, promissory notes, summonses, a bill of sale, estate inventory, accounts, and overseers appointments, a history of Pactolus, and miscellaneous items.

This collection contains the personal and administrative records of Dr. Otto Henry, a former East Carolina University music professor. Many of the materials pertain to his time at East Carolina although there are also papers from his time as a student at Tulane University and teaching at Washington and Jefferson University.
