A collection (ca. 1885-1918, undated) of 55 cartes de visite and cabinet cards mounted on cardboard, a scrapbook containing 11 snapshots, a manuscript, and printed materials belonging to John Miller Faison, a North Carolina physician, Democratic Party leader, and Congressman from the N.C. Third District between 1911 and 1915.

This collection (1909-1924) contains seventeen letters, one Christmas card, and a Panamanian calendar sent by A. P. Wilde from Empire in the Canal Zone, to relatives in Louisa County, Virginia. During this time Mr. Wilde was employed by the Isthmian Canal Commission in the Department of Examination of Accounts while the Panama Canal was being built across the Isthmus of Panama. Topics discussed are work on the Canal, the effects of drought, earthquakes, and hurricanes, difficulties of sea travel, treatment of malaria, the drawdown of clerks as the Canal is completed, and his political opinions.

In this oral history Dr. Virginia Hardy discusses the history of the East Carolina University's Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Center, its move from Brewster Hall to the new Student Union including its renaming to the Jesse R. Peel LGBTQ center, and its directions for the future. Additionally, she discusses the shifts in campus culture related to the LGBTQ community and becoming a part of the nationwide Campus Pride Index.

Collection (1859-1895, 1979) consisting of correspondence, a certificate, newspapers, photographs, an financial account and genealogical notes on Tom Johnson's family and on the descendants of Shaderack Wooten, William Spencer Murphy, Jacob Johnson Sr., Benjamin May Sr. along with information on Jacob McCotter and Emmeline McCotter.

This collection documents the history of the Bucklesberry farming community in Lenior County, North Carolina. The founding of the community and research on its early settlers, especially the John Sutton (ca.1720-1773) family, is also included. Research compiled by Joe P. Sutton.

Papers (1736–2018) including correspondence, financial documents, legal documents, personal and family materials, printed materials, and photographic materials collected by E. Frank Stephenson Jr. relating to the Benjamin B. Winborne Family, the R. J. Gatling Family, E. Frank Stephenson Jr., and other people in North Carolina and Virginia, especially the Murfreesboro, North Carolina, area. The documents were collected by E. Frank Stephenson Jr. for research use while writing numerous historical publications and to make the items available for other researchers to utilize. Many of Mr. Stephenson's publications are also included in the collection.

Yvonne Cobourn speaks about her time as a student at East Carolina University in the late 1970s, including her classes and her on and off-campus jobs including working with Dr. Steven Riggs. She discusses her life in Greenville, North Carolina including local restaurants and attending musical performances at the Attic nightclub.
