The Records of the Department of Laupus Health Science Library are comprised of administrative files which include annual reports, codes of operations, and other miscellaneous publications. This collection was transferred to the Laupus Library History Collections on August 29, 2017.

Papers (1790, 1837-1864) consisting of correspondence by John C. Fennell who served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War, was stationed at Camp Heath near Scotts Hill on Topsail Sound, and died (1862) during the yellow fever epidemic in Wilmington, North Carolina. Also includes financial papers, poem, and letters of the Cromartie family of Bladen County, N.C.

Lecture notes, business accounts, newspaper articles, military papers, and artifacts of the Garrenton Family. The Garrentons include: James Francis Garrenton (1839-1913), Cecil (1883-1935), and Connell (1910-1985). They established the Bethel Clinic near Greenville, North Carolina.

Speeches, correspondence, and publications include East Carolina gaining University status, the foundation of a medical school, the transition of athletics into Division I, and the growth of the campus.

Papers (1942-1962) of U.S. Navy enlisted man, who retired as Chief Aviation Boatswain's Mate (E-7) pertaining to his service aboard the USS INTREPID, USS BONHOMME RICHARD, USS BOXER, USS TICONDEROGA, USS PINE ISLAND, USS FORRESTAL, and various shore installations, including 3 8 mm film strips (ca. 550 feet) of flight operations aboard the USS BOXER, 1952, clippings, printed materials, manuscript materials, and photographic prints.

This collection (1823-1999) contains the papers of Robert "Bob" Boyd Robinson III. Robinson, born in 1948 in Halifax County, N.C., was a member of various groups including the Sons of the Revolution in the State of North Carolina. His papers include materials related to various families of Northeastern North Carolina and Southeastern Virginia.

This collection includes materials related to George Sutton (b. November 1757 – d. 1827) of Durant's Neck, North Carolina, and his family. Included is a King James Version Family Bible printed in 1752, with written genealogical records of the Sutton family.
