This collection contains records (1942-1945) pertaining to Captain Wallace L. Wright's service in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Bryant L. Tritt was born on December 7, 1903 in Gaston County North Carolina. He kept a collection of family bibles. The collection spans 1778-1970 and includes photocopies of genealogical records from Tritt and his wife's family Bibles listing births, deaths, and marriages, etc. The Strength of the collection is the Tritt-Whitley family of Gaston County, Davie County, and Davidson County, North Carolina genealogical records.
Items include certificate from Manhattan Maternity and Dispensary of the City of New York, appointment to the local board of Warren County, NC during World War I, and group photograph of unidentified men.

This collection includes digital images of one albumen photograph of Confederate Fort Hatteras and one of Confederate Fort Clark in North Carolina. Based on the progress that had been made on U.S. modifications of the captured forts, the photographs were probably taken between November 1861 and May 1862 by a New Bern photographer.
