Michael J. Zagray was a cook aboard a U.S. Naval vessel during the early 1960s. The collection spans the years 1954-1963. It includes 69 black and white, 8" x 10" photographic prints and 3 mimeographed typescripts on the United Nations Command Military Armistice Commission meetings held at MAC HQ Area, Korea, in 1963 and 1 mimeographed typescript on "Unusual Joint Duty Officers' Meetings" from 1 January 1954 to 1 October 1963.

Papers (1830-2011, undated [bulk 1830-1973]) relating to the Young – Spicer family of Fredericks Hall, Louisa County, Virginia and related families living in Virginia, Mississippi and Louisiana, including correspondence relating to the civil war, businesses, taxes & family matters; journals, photographic prints; genealogical and historical files and a listing of the gravestones in the Young-Spicer Cemetery at the family home, "Locust Grove" at Fredericks Hall, Virginia. Papers (1946-1948) obtained by Richard Dillard Dixon, Jr., while visiting his father Richard Dillard Dixon, Sr., who participated in the of International Military Tribunal (for Nazi war crimes) held in Nuremberg, Germany, as a member of the judges Secretariat and as a judge. Included are mimeographed transcripts of some of the trials and related manuscripts, press releases, and wall charts delineating the hierarchy of Nazi German government and military system. Other papers (1870-1970) concern the life of Edenton, N.C., attorney, insurance agent, wholesale oil salesman and civic activist Richard Dillard Dixon, Jr.

Material documenting the life of WWII U.S. Navy Captain Victor Delano including accounts (1941-1986) of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and duty in the USS West Virginia, by Victor Delano, Pearl Harbor artifacts, correspondence, Familygrams, ships logs, research studies, photograph albums, loose photographs, certificates, diplomas, medals and ribbons, clippings, programs, and publications. Also includes two packets of drawings of Admiral Horatio Nelson's flagship, H.M.S. VICTORY, 1970; and an article, entitled "TOP SECRET COMPHIBPAC OPERATIONS PLAN A11-45: The Story of the Invasion of Japan" by James Martin, ca. 1986.
