This collection contains a printed publication by Carolina Connection concerning Directions for the ECU Community.

The collection consists of a photograph of Edmund Burke Haywood; a journal on medical practices by Hubert Benbury Haywood Sr.; and a scrap of a newspaper from H.B. Haywood Sr.'s journal.

This collection contains items that document community college administrator Jerome Worsley's life as a student at East Carolina Teachers College (now ECU) in the mid-1940s and as a member of the U.S. Army (1951-1953). Included are photographs, clippings and a certificate related to Mr. Worsley's participation in the Chi Pi Players at East Carolina Teachers College; photographs, documents, passport, dog tag, patches, and insignia concerning his service as office manager in Paris, France, for SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe) under the command of General Dwight D. Eisenhower. SHAPE is the military unit of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization).

Reproduced prints of photographs originally taken by J. Thomas Forrest between 1965-1988 documenting Greenville, North Carolina. Featured are aerial and ground-level views of Greenville's central business district, including construction undertaken by the Greenville Redevelopment Commission; Old Austin Building at East Carolina University; and aspects of the operation of the Daily Reflector.

This collection contains draft articles written by James Batten for In Restrospect, a history of the namesakes of the buildings on ECU's campus, as well as a published version of In Retrospect.

Papers (1942-1945) including correspondence, vaccination records, drawings, personal history, and miscellany.

Papers include Goforth's correspondence with the Navy Department following World War II and photograph from time at Woodward-Herring Hospital.

The Mabel A. Grant Papers contain photographs, carte de visites, coursework, ephemera, memorabilia newspaper clippings, poetry, and a personal diary from 1918-1920.

The Woman's Club of Greenville, NC, was founded in April 1917 intending to raise Greenville to be equal with other cities in the state. Catherine "Kitty" Smith Joyner (b. 4 June 1932 – d. 2 Aug 2011), a native of Greenville N.C., worked with the Woman's Club of Greenville, NC, in the 1990's. This collection includes photographs of Greenville, N.C., and other locations in Pitt County, as well as a publication detailing the first fifty years of the Woman's Club of Greenville, NC.
