Collection (2005) of research material regarding the Battle of Wyse Forks, North Carolina, compiled by the donor for Through the Eyes of Soldiers: The Battle of Wyse Forks, Kinston, North Carolina, March 7-10, 1865, by Tom J. Edwards and William Rowland, edited by Ashleigh D. Brothers, published by the Lenoir County Historical Association, Kinston, N.C., in 2006, including typescripts of unit histories, excerpts from official records and published works, and manuscript maps of the battle.

Records include biennial and annual reports of local lodges, the Records of Proceedings for the annual sessions of the Grand Lodge, financial records, minute book, constitutions and bylaws, publications and items such as the 1909 Pythian Service Book.

H. Auden, Christopher Isherwood, T. S. Eliot, Robert Penn Warren, Richard Ghormley Eberhart, Randall Jarrell, Katherine Anne Porter, William Styron, Allen Tate, Peter Hillsman Taylor, and others, in English and French language.
Collection (1766-2010) consists of items related to the Augustus Moore (June 8, 1803-March 23, 1851) family of Chowan and Halifax Cos., N.C., his children Augustus Minton Moore, William Armistead Moore, Henrietta Moore Sutton, Susan Augustus Moore Righton, Mary Elizabeth Moore, Alfred Moore and John Armistead Moore, and the descendants of John Armistead Moore. Included are account books, legal records, land transactions, estate records, correspondence, clippings, and autograph books (1855, 1865) belonging to family members who attended Miss Willard's Female Seminary in Troy, N.Y., and Patapsco Female Institute in Ellicott City, Maryland. Also included are identified photographs (cartes de visite, tintypes, cased pictures, albums) of the Moore, Gilliam, and Skinner, families, religious books such as Roman Catholic Missals, Episcopal Books of Common Prayer and Bibles, UNC-Chapel Hill diplomas (1824), and items related to the 1878 Exposition in Paris, France.
This collection consists of three diaries (1915-1917) written by John Ambrose Chalk documenting daily weather, agricultural activities, and interesting social events in Chowan County, North Carolina. He and his family were living on Mulberry Hill Farm while he managed the farm for Mr. Henry Wood of Edenton, N.C. Also included are transcriptions of the diaries provided by the donor along with family information, and indices to places mentioned and interesting events.
Contained in the collection are notebooks, pamphlets, photographs and negatives from Boice's time at the University of Pennsylvania and his career afterwards.
