Papers of Alyson Carol Hagy (1985-1988) documenting the life and literary career of the noted Virginia-born American short story writer, novelist and creative writing educator at the University of Wyoming, Laramie; consisting of her correspondence with Stuart Wright, typescripts, galleys, page proofs, uncorrected, and corrected proofs, camera copies, and original cover art for her collection of short stories entitled, Madonna on Her Back Stories, published by Stuart Wright (1986); also loose items transferred from the Stuart Wright Book Collection.

Collection (1792-1953) relating to the Hodges and Little families of Pitt County, NC, consisting of correspondence, wills, deeds, receipts, promissory notes, summonses, a bill of sale, estate inventory, accounts, and overseers appointments, a history of Pactolus, and miscellaneous items.

Records (1927-2012) including photographic slides & compact discs illustrating City of Greenville Police Department public relations, detective squad, and traffic control operations, including inspections, personnel, court and trail procedures, training programs, including first aid training, bomb disposal, and riot training; also including a letter from Stuart Savage, Senior Writer, The Daily Reflector; to Sergeant Joe Friday & 2 compact discs containing reproductions of black and white and color slides of police operations.

East Carolina University's Science Camp for Academically Gifted Students includes an in-depth instructional curriculum, free and structured recreation periods and an evening lecture series. The facutly and staff of the camp consists of ECU personnel and local science teachers with various specialities as well as dormitory counselors. Students attend classes in university classrooms and laboratories and are housed in a university dorm. Participants are selected on the basis of (1) the recommendation of a teacher, counselor, or principal; (2) grades in science and mathematics; (3) latest acheivement test scores; and, (4) the date of application.

Papers (1736–2018) including correspondence, financial documents, legal documents, personal and family materials, printed materials, and photographic materials collected by E. Frank Stephenson Jr. relating to the Benjamin B. Winborne Family, the R. J. Gatling Family, E. Frank Stephenson Jr., and other people in North Carolina and Virginia, especially the Murfreesboro, North Carolina, area. The documents were collected by E. Frank Stephenson Jr. for research use while writing numerous historical publications and to make the items available for other researchers to utilize. Many of Mr. Stephenson's publications are also included in the collection.

Papers of Robert Penn Warren (1885-2008 [Bulk: 1940-1989], undated) documenting the life and literary career of the noted Guthrie, Kentucky-born American poet, novelist, playwright, biographer, and educator, who played a major role in the rise of the Fugitive and Agrarian literary movements and in the spread of the New Criticism during the mid-20th century, and who became the first poet laureate of the United States, including correspondence; manuscripts, photographic prints, proofs of published materials, printed material, loose manuscript items from the Stuart Wright Book Collection, audio recordings and oversized materials, by or about Robert Penn Warren, Cleanth Brooks, John Ciardi, Annie Dillard, Fred Chappell, Richard Ghormley Eberhart, Robert Frost, George Garrett, Randall Jarrell, Robert Lowell, Bernard Malamud, Albert J. Papers of William Faulkner (1948-1990) documenting the life and literary career of the noted New Albany, Mississippi-born American novelist and short story writer who won the 1949 Nobel Prize for literature; consisting of loose manuscript items transferred from the Stuart Wright Book Collection, including a letter enclosing a printed copy of Faulkner's Nobel Prize acceptance speech and letters from Faulkner's biographer, Joseph Blotner; also a carbon typescript manuscript (ca. 1948) of a Faulkner short story entitled A Courtship.

Papers (1945-1984 [Bulk: 1984]) documenting the life and literary career of Karl [Jay] Shapiro (1913-2000), the noted Baltimore, Maryland-born American poet, critic, and educator, consisting of an unbound page proof of Love and War, Art and War (1984) by Karl Shapiro; also containing loose manuscript items transferred from the Stuart Wright Book Collection relating to Collected Poems, 1940-1979 (1945-1984), New and Selected Poems (1984), and To Abolish Children and Other Essays (1984) by Karl Shapiro.

Papers of Richard Wilbur (1948-2008, undated) documenting the life and literary career of the noted New York City-born American poet, translator, and educator at Wesleyan University and Smith College, who was associated with the New Formalist movement, and who became poet laureate of the United States; including correspondence with John Ciardi, W. S. Merwin, and Louis Untermeyer, manuscript typescripts, audio recordings, loose manuscript items transferred from the Stuart Wright Book Collection, printed materials, proofs of published materials, and oversized printed and photographic materials.
