Papers of Mark Morrow (1981-1998, [Bulk: 1981-1986]) documenting the life and career of the Greer, South Carolina-raised American journalist, editor, photographer, and essayist; consisting of loose manuscript items transferred from the Stuart Wright Book Collection volume entitled Images of the Southern Writer: Photographs (1981-1998), by Mark Morrow, including 17 letters, postcards and bills sent from Morrow to Stuart Wright regarding photographic orders, 1981-1986; also a letter from George Garrett to Stuart Wright enclosing a copy of Morrow's book, 1998.

Papers of William [Morris] Meredith, Jr. (1964-1983) documenting the life and literary career of the noted New York City-born American poet and educator at various universities including Connecticut College; consisting of materials mainly pertaining to The Cheer, by William Meredith (1980); including notes, manuscript typescripts, loose manuscript items transferred from the Stuart Wright Book Collection and oversized proofs.

This donation contains material (1968-1995) collected by Walter Charles Lackey and his wife Mildred Futrell Lackey documenting their involvement in the Murfreesboro Historical Association. Included are a photograph album containing images of the 1980 Dedication of Wheeler House and the 1977 Lafayette Ball, 1981 Lafayette Ball programs, clippings (1968-1979), the History of Murfreesboro United Methodist Church (1976), invocation and history of Wesleyan Female College upon unveiling of a historical marker, "Memories of Murfreesboro" compiled August 1992 by the Recollections Committee of the Murfreesboro Historical Assoc., and three publications.

This collection contains genealogy material concerning the Tucker family of Pitt County, North Carolina, and correspondence (1983-1999), legal documents, maps and photographs related to the Tucker Family Cemetery in Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina. Documented are attempts to keep up the cemetery, protect it from encroachment from neighboring Arlington Boulevard due to needs to widen the road, and from encroachment by neighbors.

This collection includes a Wedding Anniversary Scrapbook (ca. 1940-1996) kept by Lawrence White and Florence Hines White of Hope Plantation located on Washington Post Road in New Bern, North Carolina; digital images of the images in a photograph album created by the donor which documents the lives of Lawrence and Florence White of Hope Plantation and their families; and digital images of plantation chits related to farms in the Washington Post Road area. Also included are farm record books (1944, 1948) and related documents (1943-1950).

Scrapbooks (1946) of Eliza "Jane" Pratt, the first woman elected from North Carolina to the U.S. House of Representatives.
