This collection (1962-1998) includes scrapbooks documenting activities (1986-1989) of the Junior Confederacy Chapter No. 775 (Wilson) of the Children of the Confederacy, activities (1962-1963, 1970-1971, 1988-1991) of the John W. Dunham Chapter No. 374 (Wilson) of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, and activities (1989-1991) of the Junior Confederacy Chapter No. 66 (Wilson) of the Children of the Confederacy. Also included are some loose publications (1962-1998) such as yearbooks, convention programs, and minutes.

The collection includes scans of correspondence, biographical sketches, newspaper clippings, published articles, and photographs which document her life and work before, during, and after entering religious life. Papers (1939-1995, 2007) including McDaniel family and Harvey family genealogical research; and U.S. Air Force Flying Status Files and related files (1942-1980), recording Linton's military career. These files document his career including the U. S. Military Academy Class of 1942, his pilot training and World War II service in the 5th Air Force in the Pacific, and his postwar service in Germany with the 12th Air Force, and the 601st Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron and 526th Tactical Control Group. Also documented are his service in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, his continuing education courses, and his retirement.

The collection provides a glimpse of an American soldier's point of view and experience serving overseas during the post-war occupation of Japan.
