This collection contains correspondence, publications, membership rosters, information about awards and events, and meeting minutes for East Carolina's chapter of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.

Issue No. LXXIX (1/13/1790) of the Gazette of the United States newspaper containing the announcement of the Adoption and Ratification of the Constitution of the United States by the State of North Carolina, signed in type by President George Washington, p.313-316, (4 p.), published by John Fenno, New York, and autographed "[Moses] Ogden."

The Phoenix Historical Society: African American History of Edgecombe County was founded in 2001 to recover, record, and promote the unique history of Edgecombe County (North Carolina) as experienced by members of its African American community. This collection contains the society's official records, brochures, event programs, and publications related to research, community events and sponsored projects.

Papers (1927-1962, 1974) including correspondence, clippings, photographs, copies of an annual, 2 crewbooks, speeches, programs, citations and menus reflecting career.

Correspondence, financial records, and speeches (1876, 1913-1932) related to Hugh Gwyn Chatham of Chatham Manufacturing Company (textile company) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He was president of the company from 1907 to 1929.

Papers (1916-1935) including a photocopy of an autobiography, bound book, of professional papers and articles and copy of a lecture.

Papers (1830-2014, undated) [Bulk: 1895-1970] of the Humber Family, documenting the lives of Robert Lee Humber, Jr. (1898-1970) and his extended family, including the papers of his father, Robert Lee Humber, Sr. (1864-1952), a businessman and inventor and his mother, Lena Clyde Davis Humber (1870-1936) and her family, of Kinston, Greenville and Davis Island, North Carolina; his siblings, John Davis Humber, MD (1895-1991), Leslie Mumford Humber (1907-1925), and Lena Dye Humber Smith (1902-1973); also including his wife, Lucie Julie Jeanne Berthier Humber (1895-1982) and the Berthier family of Villeneuve and Paris, France, and their children and grandchildren, families, educations, careers, activities, and writings; including correspondence, files, ephemera, museum objects, published materials and oversized materials, arranged generally in alphabetical order by the donors.

Collection (1910-1928, undated) of photocopies of correspondence, programs, and a volume relating to a Wilmington (NC) attorney, political leader, and mason. **Please note the collection is photocopies only. ECU does not own the originals.

Papers (1767-1976) of three generations of Beaufort County, NC, lawyers named William B. Rodman, including correspondence, letterpress books, speeches, financial records, legal files, farm records, clippings, printed material, newspapers, photographs, genealogical material and miscellaneous. Originally from New York, the Rodmans married into the prominent Blount family in Beaufort County, NC. The Rodmans also held local and state government offices and were judges.

This collection documents the history of Winterville, North Carolina, and its citizens through material including programs for the 1986 and 1987 Winterville Watermelon Festivals, a booklet (2011) documenting the first fifty years of the Winterville Kiwanis Club, and newsletters from the Winterville Chamber of Commerce (2017) and the Winterville Historical and Arts Society, Inc. (2016-2017).

Collection (1911-1956, bulk 1918-1919) consists of material related to Roy S. Fisk who served as an Army cook with Co. C, 131st Engineers, AEF, stationed in Le Mans, France, during the latter half of World War I. Included are correspondence, papers related to Fisk's military career, war-related publications, French guide books and souvenir photo albums from places he visited in France, a postcard book from the USS Kaiserin Auguste Victoria, and Vol. 1, No. 19, April 10, 1919, issue of The Bulletin which discusses issues in France and the military career of Brigadier General George S. Simonds. Also included are some papers and ephemera related to his post-military life.

Collection (ca. 1899-2011, undated) documenting the history of Pepsi-Cola in New Bern, N.C.; the involvement of the Minges family in the soft drink business, 1923-1992, in Greenville, Tarboro, and Rocky Mount, N.C.; and the Minges Bottling Group, Inc., of Ayden, N.C. Materials include clippings, correspondence, contracts and financial records, advertising materials, photographic prints and compact discs, printing plates, printed materials, trademark registration certificates, video recordings, ephemera,etc. Digital files document the history of the Minges family of Catawba and Pitt Counties, North Carolina, and the history of the Minges Bottling Group.

Collection (1871-1970, undated) including correspondence, photographs, postcards, and printed material relating to the Stancill Family.

Papers include genealogical research, correspondence, photographs, and photocopies from 1885 Baptist Almanac.

Papers (1917-1941) of Frank M. Wooten Sr. (1875-1941), a leading Greenville attorney, Superior Court judge, and member of the N.C. General Assembly, and Greenville mayor, consisting of correspondence during first World War, letters, political campaign, pamphlets concerning tobacco, cultivation, agricultural alcohol, clipping, financial papers, etc.
