Papers (1917-1918) of Lt. William T. Clements documenting his experience with the 17th U.S. Aero Squadron, American Expeditionary Forces, during training in the U.S. and England, and service in France during World War I. Included are a diary, and a microfilm copy of his World War I photograph album.

Lenoir County Colonial Commission Records (2006–2007, undated) pertaining to events and activities honoring and celebrating the life and accomplishments of landowner, Revolutionary War general, and six term governor of North Carolina, Richard Caswell, held in Kinston, N.C., 12–19 August 2007; also including newspaper clippings, programs of events, correspondence, financial records, printed materials, digital materials, drafts, and documents regarding the publication of Clayton Brown Alexander's 1930 PhD dissertation, which was a biography of Richard Caswell, entitled "First Patriots and the Best of Men: Richard Caswell in Public Life," which was edited by W. Keats Sparrow.

The Edward Baxter Billingsley Collection (1817-1819, 1938–1999, undated) consists of historical research materials, drafts, and a typescript copy (643 pages) of One Destroyer and World War II: A History of the U. S. S. Emmons (DD457-DM22), by Edward Baxter Billingsley, that he later published as The Emmons Saga: A History of the U. S. S. Emmons (DD457 – DM22). Also included are photographic prints, photocopied naval documents, and microfilm reels concerning his research, and correspondence (1817-1819) related to his dissertation on Chilean and Peruvian wars of Independence.

This collection (1910-1934, 1964) contains correspondence, photographs, postcards, official documents, two diaries/journals, and publications related to the World War I service of a nurse trained at Camp McClellan in Alabama and served in France. Also documented is her post-World War I service in Serbia with the Serbian Relief Committee of America.

Records of Greenville, NC book club (1937-2018), including minutes, correspondence, newsletter clippings, constitution and by-laws, treasurer books, yearbooks, and eight scrapbooks.

Papers (1917-1919 1926) consisting of correspondence, memorandums, orders, manuals, World War I, list of field equipments.

Photograph album documenting the travels (1951) of the USS Seiverling through stops in Pearl Harbor, Midway, Japan, and probably Hong Kong, participation in the Taiwan Strait Patrol, and bombardments near Songjin, North Korea. Photographs depict not only the activities of the sailors, but also activities of the local people. Also included are photographs of other U.S. Navy ships, and small boats carrying surrendering North Koreans.

Application forms (1917-1918) submitted by US Navy during World War I, for $10,000 US Treasury Department, Bureau of War Risk Insurance, Division of Military and Naval Insurance policies, including service number, name, address, date of birth, age, date of last enlistment, amount of insurance, beneficiaries name and address, certification as a true copy, where applied for, date of application, witnesses name and rank, applicants signature and rank.

The Company 517, U.S. Naval Training Station Group Photograph Collection consists of a single group image dated June 3, 1943, depicting members of Company 517 at a U.S. Naval Training Station during World War II. The reverse of the photograph is annotated with numbered identifications for numerous individuals, many accompanied by associated hometowns primarily from Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Iowa, and California. Several annotations are illegible or incomplete.
