This collection contains Ann Brandon Laliotes' and John Laliotes' memorabilia from their time as students at East Carolina as well as information about their later involvement with the university.
Ann Brandon and John Laliotes met as students at East Carolina University. They both graduated in 1969, John with a degree in Political Science and Ann in Spanish. Ann then earned a master's in library science in 1972. They moved 15 times for their careers, John in pharmeceutical sales and Ann in library science, but returned to the Greenville area upon retirement. Their philanthropy supports many areas of the university including athletics, academics, and the medical and health sciences. they funded the renovation of the Political Science library room, which was named in John's honor in 2019. John passed away on April 9, 2019.
