This collection contains photographs and artifacts from Jerry Tolley's time as a student at East Carolina University and his research on Clarence Stasavich.
Jerry Tolley was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina in 1942. He earned both an undergraduate and Master's degree from East Carolina University. During his time there, he played on the Varsity Football Team. He also earned a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. As a professional coach, he led the football team at Elon College (now University) in Elon, North Carolina to two division titles. Beginning in 1989 he served as the Mayor of the town of Elon for eight years.
