The School of Human Environmental Sciences was formerly the School of Home Economics. The school was renamed Human Environmental Sciences in 1991. In 2003 the school became the College of Human Ecology. In 2015 the College of Human Ecology was disbanded under a reorganization plan with the departments and schools in the college moving to other colleges.
