This record contains a Campus Plan booklet dated December 2000. The Campus Master Plan combines a series of initiatives in response to a time of major growth and change at East Carolina University. The programmatic requirements for this plan were developed by university staff in collaboration with Eva Klein & Associates, Ltd., in conjunction with a system-wide capital needs assessment initiated by the General Administration of the University of North Carolina.
In June of 1998, at the Chancellor's Retreat, the university's leadership proposed that the 1992 Comprehensive Facilities Master Plan be revisited.
