Post war commentary centers on assignment to Admiral Marc Mitscher's staff, service during the Korean War operating off of the USS YORKTOWN, duty aboard the USS SARATOGA in the Mediterrian during the Lebanon Crisis of 1958, staff assignment to COMFAIRJAX, test pilot school, setting the national jet speed record, and service in the USS INDEPENDENCE off Vietnam.
