Sam T. White II was the son of Charles White and grandson of Sam White. He was an optometrist in Greenville, North Carolina, and became a member of the Greenville Rotary Club in November 1951. His father and grandfather owned and operated White's Variety Stores.
Five black and white photographs taken by Dr. Sam T. White II. The men in the photographs are Dr. Charles P. Adams, Frederick Phillips Brooks Jr., Dr. Sylvanus W. "Bill" Nye, Dr. Kenneth Quiggins, William H. Watson, Dr. Earl Trevathan Jr., and Dr. Edwin W. Monroe. Several of the men worked at East Carolina University. Photos were taken probably in the 1960s.
