Biographical/historical information

Dr. Milford "Dr. M" Hinnant was born on 1886 June 5 in Johnston County, North Carolina to Needham Bryant Hinnant and Mary Jane [Godwin] Hinnant. He married Eva [Wellons] Hinnant and in 1913 they had Charles Bryant Hinnant. Dr. Hinnant died on 1960 August 2 in Smithfield, North Carolina.

Scope and arrangement

The Dr. M. Hinnant Papers include numerous patient notes and receipts as well as eight ledgers and a record book from the late-1940s through the mid-1950s.
